Our secure server encrypts all of your personal information, including your name, address, and credit card information, so that it cannot be read as it is transmitted over the Internet. Encrypted information (necessary to complete the reservation) received by TravelHero.com is shared only with the travel providers that you select in your reservation.
We do store your credit card information on our server if you have made a reservation. For your convenience, we also store this information on our server so that you will not have to re-enter it on your next visit. If you have not made a reservation yet, you can have your credit card information completely removed from our database. Do this by going to My Account and clicking "change or remove credit card."
Encrypted information received by TravelHero.com is shared only with the travel providers that you select in your reservation. Only information necessary to complete the reservation is shared with these travel providers. Please note that in the case of certain hotels and tour products, deposits are required and will be debited by the travel provider (the hotel or tour operator) or TravelHero to your credit card. Your card is not charged without prior consent from you.

We take fraud and protection of your privacy very seriously. We use Verisign for your protection, and your credit card information is accessible only by our authorized travel agents and the travel provider’s reservation systems. In the unlikely event that your credit card is used on our secure server and you didn’t authorize it, follow the reporting procedures of the card issuer, and contact us immediately. Many credit card companies will cover all of the charges that result from unauthorized use of your cards, and your maximum liability under the Fair Credit Billing Act is US$50.00.
If your credit card company does hold you liable for unauthorized charges made as a result of your credit card transaction with TravelHero.com while using our secure server, we will reimburse you for your remaining liability, up to the maximum of US$50. That means you’ll never be liable for a single nickel of an unauthorized charge to your credit card made on our web site.
